1×13 Ratchet

The Ratio 1×13 ratchet allows you to run a Campagnolo 13 speed Ekar* cassette and chain with your existing SRAM road 10 or 11 speed shifters and 1x-specific SRAM Exact Actuation* derailleur (note you will need our 13 speed jockey wheels if you are using a standard SRAM Exact Actuation* derailleur as the Ekar* chain is thinner). You can also use the Ratio 1×13 ratchet to use your existing SRAM road 10 or 11 speed shifters with our Ratio Mech and either a Campagnolo 13 speed Ekar* cassette and chain or a SRAM* XPLR* 13 speed cassette and chain.

Pair with our Ratio Ring for a 13 speed drivetrain with a minimum of new components.

In your kit you will find:

1. Ratio 1×13 ratchet
2. M2.5 screw for shifter ratchet replacement
3. Ratio chainstay sticker

To use this ratchet with your existing SRAM Exact Actuation* derailleur you will need:

1. SRAM 10- or 11-speed road shifters. If using 10-speed shifters you will also need a Ratio cable spool
2. SRAM 1x derailleur from the Force 1*, Rival 1* or Apex 1* groups, or a SRAM 1x derailleur from the 11-speed MTB groups with a Ratio cable fin and, if necessary for cable routing, a Ratio rear exit cable stop fitted. Ensure your derailleur has sufficient capacity for your chosen cassette size; note that 42t max derailleurs will shift perfectly on 10-44t cassettes
3. Jockey wheels that are compatible with the Ekar* chain. We also sell the 13 speed ratchet and Ekar*-compatible jockey wheels as the 1x13C Upgrade Kit if you need both
4. A Campagnolo Ekar* 13 speed cassette
5. A Campagnolo Ekar* 13 speed chain
6. A chainring compatible with the Ekar* chain, such as our Ratio Ring
7. An N3W* freehub body

To use this ratchet with the Ratio Mech you will need:

1. SRAM 10- or 11-speed road shifters. If using 10-speed shifters you will also need a Ratio cable spool
2. Ratio Mech
3. A Campagnolo Ekar* 13 speed cassette or a SRAM* XPLR* 13 speed cassette
4. A Campagnolo Ekar* 13 speed chain or a SRAM* Flattop* chain
5. A chainring compatible with the Ekar* chain, such as our Ratio Ring
6. An N3W* freehub body

NOTE: On some older shifters, the reach adjuster will not spin freely when it bottoms out. Stop turning the reach adjuster screw as soon as you encounter resistance.
