As gravel bikes have become more capable, we’ve found that dropper posts have opened up a whole new range of Lakes trails. Although a ‘hack’ exists to use an original SRAM left hand shift lever, because shift cables are clamped at the derailleur end this is unsuitable for the vast majority of dropper posts. The Ratio lever clamps and manages the cable itself, making it compatible with the cable routing on any dropper post.
This kit includes everything you need to operate your dropper from your SRAM 11 speed (hydraulic brakes only) or SRAM Apex 12 speed shifters. The Drop Dropper lever provides easy actuation from the hoods or drops and is seamlessly integrated with your existing shifters.
Our dropper levers are machined by us in the Lake District, UK, using 6082 aluminium and full stainless hardware.

To use the Drop Dropper you will need:
- Mechanical SRAM 11 speed or SRAM Apex 12 speed drop-bar shifters, for hydraulic brakes
- A dropper post that fits in your frame
We have tested the following dropper posts with our lever:
- OneUp V2/V3 Dropper post
- YT Postman
- SDG Tellis V1
- Giant OEM
If your post is not in the list then please note that some posts will work better than others. Due to the cable routing and differences in return force, cable drag can cause issues with light actuation posts (posts that use a low spring force). Our kit has been designed to minimise cable drag and increase return force as much as possible, using low drag outer for the tight bend at the bars and a return spring in the lever.
Use of the Drop Dropper lever with cable-operated brake levers can cause obstruction to the brake lever in some circumstances.
