What’s it for?
The Ratio Ring and Ratio DM Ring are 1x-specific chainrings for 12 and 13 speed drivetrains. The chainrings feature a directional narrow-wide profile to prevent chain drops both while pedalling and when freewheeling over rough terrain. The chainrings are currently available for 5 bolt, 110 mm BCD fitment, SRAM 3 bolt direct mount and SRAM 8 bolt direct mount.
ratio ring compatibility:
The Ratio Ring is designed for use with Campagnolo Ekar* 13 speed chains, and with SRAM Flattop* and Eagle* 12 speed chains. The 5 bolt, 110 BCD pattern is the most common ‘road compact’ chainset bolt pattern. All the Ratio DM Rings are compatible with Shimano HG+* 12 speed chains too. Currently the Ratio DM Ring is only available for SRAM 3 bolt and SRAM 8 bolt cranks.
