SR45X Cage Kit for SRAM AXS road derailleurs

What’s it for?

The SR45X Cage Kit for SRAM AXS* road derailleurs is designed to increase the capacity of SRAM AXS road derailleurs from the standard 33t or 36t to 44t. By adding the link and the cage you convert your 2×12 derailleur to a 10-44t derailleur a.k.a SRAM XLPR*. Once you have installed the conversion kit your derailleur is no longer compatible with 2×12 systems.

Alternatively, if you own a SRAM AXS XPLR derailleur and you have damaged your cage then our SR45X cage (without the link) can be used as a drop-in replacement to keep your mech up and running.

What’s in the kit?

The kit includes either the SR45X cage and extender link or our SR45X cage only with Ratio jockeys. The cage, jockeys and extender link are machined by us in the Lakes; the cage and link are manufactured from 7075 aluminium for strength and weight, and the jockeys are recyclable Delrin plastic for smooth, wear-resistant and quiet operation. Our jockeys run on stainless Enduro bearings with labyrinth seals.

Green – Recommended

Amber – We’ve tested some of these and, for derailleurs in particular, some options will be an issue. These issues are related to jockey wheel clearance and total derailleur range of movement.
