This SR52 Cage for SRAM 1x Mechanical features 7075 aluminium plates with Delrin jockey wheels, all machined in house by Ratio in the Lake District, UK. #madeinthelakes
The derailleur cage is compatible with mechanical SRAM 1×11 derailleurs with Type 2.x and Type 3 clutches including both road & MTB versions, as well as SRAM 1×12 Eagle derailleurs. Electronic Eagle AXS* derailleurs are not compatible.
Designed to increase the capacity of your 1×11 derailleur, or as a direct replacement for damaged SRAM Eagle* derailleurs, this cage makes your mech compatible with cassettes with up to 52 teeth. It comes pre-fitted with 12t upper & 14t lower jockey wheels, both spinning on sealed Enduro bearings. The jockey tooth profile builds on knowledge gained designing our Ratio Ring, and the lower jockey also features narrow-wide teeth for improved chain retention.
Want to use the SR52 Cage for SRAM 1x Mechanical to upgrade your 1×11 SRAM Road drivetrain to wide range 1×12? We offer it as part of our 1×12 Wide Ratchet & Cage Kit which also contains our 1×12 Wide Ratchet.
For information on how to install the cage, see our SR52 Cage instructions.

What a great value product. Really very pleased with this. The cage alone is a significant improvement on the SRAM original (I’m replacing a standard 12sp GX) and well priced for a stiffer more robust product. But you get the sprockets as well which a big upgrade on the SRAM originals and an equivalent sprocket upgrade costs a lot if bought separately from other third party manufacturers. But most of all, the service is exceptional. I didn’t receive my cage due to the carrier messing up (no fault of Ratio btw). I had a big trip planned, a wrecked cage and needed a new one promptly. Ratio simply sent me another as ‘next day’ delivery. Wonderful! Buy here!
